Frequently Asked Questions

Can children or pets attend the festival?

Being an event that focuses on alcohol we don’t feel that most events within the weekend are suited for children. We have however carved out a few events that are family friendly including the free concert on Saturday and the Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday. All other events will be 21+ and IDs will be required to verify age and all adults will be clearly marked as attendees and participants. This rule applies to infants in strollers or backpacks. No pets please.

How many beers will there be?

Over 300 different beer, wine and spirit samples will be showcased over the festival weekend.

Can I purchase beer at the festival?

Colorado law prohibits the sale of beer at the festival. However, please utilize the mobile app to directly connect to West Vail Liquors where you can purchase your favorite brews.

Will there be food?

There will not be full meals served at the tasting events; it is sample sizes only.

Where should I stay?

Check out current offers from our lodging partners here.

Where should I park?

We recommend using Vail’s free bus system. But the public parking lots will be open during the Classic. Check your event for specific details.

Where do I start?

Where you start is dependent upon which event you are attending. See your event for check in details.

Can I purchase tickets anywhere other than online?

Tickets for the Toast of Vail and the Classic Kickoff Celebration are available locally at West Vail Liquors.

Is there a designated driver program or a non-drinking ticket?

Yes. These tickets are discounted; attendees will receive different credentials and no beer mug for the event. Please call our office directly for these tickets: (877) 328-2783.

What if I buy tickets and can’t come to the event?

We apologize – just like a concert or sporting event there are no refunds, but you are free to sell/give your tickets away to another person over 21 years old.

What if there is inclement weather?

We will do our best to run the event as planned. The event will most likely be held, rain or shine, just like a sporting event. The mountain outdoors can be unpredictable so dress accordingly. There will be no refunds for inclement weather.
